A vintage red pickup truck hauling home the christmas tree, with your family name hand-lettered on the door. The most recognisable image in american christmas decor, printed on premium ceramic and personalized with your surname. A retro farmhouse Christmas mug that looks like it came out of a box in the attic rather than off a warehouse shelf.

Design Notes
Q: How does the family name get printed?
Type your surname in the personalization field at checkout and we print it in handwritten script on the side of the truck door, in the format The [Your Name] Family. It appears exactly as you type it, so double-check the spelling before you order.
Q: How long can the name be?
Keep it to a single surname of around fifteen characters or fewer. The truck door is a narrow space, so short names like Miller, Brooks or Alvarez look best. Very long surnames or two names joined with an ampersand get squeezed and lose the handwritten feel.
Q: Can I put something other than a surname?
Yes. The field is free text, so a first name, a nickname or a farm or cabin name all work. Just keep it short. The word Family is part of the printed layout, so whatever you enter reads as The [Your Text] Family.
Q: Which size should I choose?
The 11oz is the classic coffee-shop size and our most popular pick for gifting. The 15oz suits anyone who refills constantly or drinks large lattes and cocoa. The artwork is scaled to suit each size, so the truck and the door script stay clear on both.
Q: Will the design fade in the dishwasher?
No. We use heat transfer printing, which bonds the ink firmly to the glaze and resists fading and peeling. It is safe in both the dishwasher and the microwave. Just avoid abrasive scouring pads directly on the printed area.
Q: Can I order several with different family names?
Yes, and it is a popular way to buy them. Add one mug to your cart per name and enter that name in its own personalization field. Each mug is printed individually, so a set of four for four households is no problem. Personalized mugs ship within 5-10 business days.
| Feature | Heat Transfer (Our Method) | Sublimation (Common Alternative) |
|---|---|---|
| Handwritten Script | Thin script strokes on the door stay sharp | Fine script can soften and blur |
| Vintage Red Tone | Deep brick red stays true, not orange | Reds can shift warm or dull |
| Distressed Texture | Halftone grain prints cleanly | Fine grain can flatten out |
| Wash Durability | Resists fading and peeling with daily washing | Can fade after repeated cycles |

Solid vintage design, exactly the farmhouse look I wanted. Only note is that the artwork is on one side only, so you see plain white ceramic from the other angle. Not a problem for me but worth knowing.
I used our cabin name instead of a surname since the field is free text and it worked beautifully. The Willow Creek Family. Print is sharp and it has been in the dishwasher weekly with no fading.
Gave this to my in-laws with their name on the truck door and my mother in law actually put it on the shelf as decor instead of using it. Sturdy handle, whole hand fits, no chips on arrival.
Bought this for our first christmas in the new house and put our family name on it. It is now the mug I reach for every morning even in August. The vintage red is a proper deep red, not orange.
Great looking mug and the print quality is genuinely good. Our surname is long and it did come out smaller than I pictured, which the listing does warn about. If your name is short it will look better.
