Dog Mom Gift - Custom Pet Photo Christmas Ornament, Personalized Dog Cat Name Keepsake, Christmas Wreath Acrylic Tree Decoration

Their first Christmas. Their tenth. Or the one you still can't talk about without your voice cracking. This personalized pet photo ornament turns one favourite picture of your dog, cat, bunny or bird into a keepsake that hangs on your tree year after year — framed in a hand-drawn Christmas wreath, topped with a tiny Santa hat, and finished with their name in warm retro lettering.

Printed on clear acrylic with a soft vintage colour palette of brick red, forest green, cream and gold, it reads like a piece of old-fashioned holiday artwork rather than a photo slapped on a disc. Choose from seven sizes so it fits a tabletop tree, a full-size fir, a wreath, a rear-view mirror or a gift box.

Make It Theirs

• Upload your photo — we crop it neatly into the round wreath frame for you
• Enter your pet's name — printed in the retro serif lettering below the wreath

What Makes It Different

• Illustrated, not just printed — the wreath, berries, jingle bells, ribbon and Santa hat are original hand-drawn artwork
• Colour that lasts — UV-cured printing that won't yellow or peel in storage
• Both sides visible — clear bevelled acrylic edge catches tree lights and glows
• Light enough for any branch — won't drag down a thin tip like ceramic or glass
• Shatterproof — safe around toddlers, curious cats and wagging tails

Materials & Construction

Ribbon or hook is not included — the drilled hole fits any twine, ribbon or standard ornament hook you already have, so you can match it to your own tree.

Care & Storage

• Wipe with a soft dry or slightly damp cloth — never use alcohol, acetone or abrasive cleaners
• Store wrapped in tissue or a soft pouch to keep the surface scratch-free
• Keep away from radiators, candles and direct heat sources
• Not dishwasher safe (it's a decoration, not tableware)

Gift Ideas

This is the ornament people keep long after the season ends. It works beautifully as:

• A first Christmas gift for a new puppy, kitten or rescue adoption
• A memorial keepsake for a pet who has passed — many customers hang it year after year as a quiet tradition
• A surprise for the dog mom or cat dad who genuinely wants nothing else
• A pet sitter, groomer or vet tech thank-you gift
• A matching set — one ornament per pet, hung side by side

Frequently Asked Questions

What kind of photo works best?

A clear, well-lit photo taken in daylight, with your pet's face filling a good portion of the frame. Because the design crops into a circle, avoid pictures where your pet is far away or off to one edge. We print what you upload, so screenshots, dark shots and heavy filters will look the same on the ornament.

Can I put two pets in one ornament?

Yes, if both pets appear together in the single photo you upload and both faces are clearly visible. The photo area is one round frame, so a picture of them side by side works well. If you'd rather give each pet their own spotlight, many customers order one ornament per pet and hang them together.

Does it come with a ribbon or hook?

No — there is a pre-drilled hole in the top tab, but no ribbon, string or metal hook is included. This keeps the design clean and lets you match your own tree, whether that's rustic twine, satin ribbon or a standard ornament hook.

Which size should I choose?

8cm is our most popular size for a standard Christmas tree — big enough to see the photo clearly, small enough to sit naturally among other ornaments. Choose 7cm for tabletop trees or gift toppers, 10–12cm if you want it to stand out or hang on a wreath or window, and 14–16cm for a wall or mantel display piece.

Will the photo fade or peel over the years?

The design is UV-cured directly onto the acrylic rather than applied as a sticker or paper insert, so it won't peel, bubble or yellow in storage. Stored wrapped in tissue and kept away from direct heat, it's built to come out of the box looking the same next December.

Is it safe around pets and small children?

Yes. Acrylic is shatterproof, so unlike glass or ceramic it won't break into sharp pieces if a curious cat or toddler knocks it off the branch. It's also very light, which means it hangs safely from thinner tree tips.

Can I use this as a memorial ornament?

Absolutely, and many customers do. Upload your favourite photo and enter their name, and it becomes a gentle yearly tradition rather than something sad in a drawer. If you'd like a larger keepsake to display all year round, the 14cm or 16cm size works well on a shelf or mantel.
