Christmas Gift For Family - Personalized Couple Christmas Ornament, Our First Christmas Anniversary Keepsake, Custom Names Year Mistletoe Acrylic Tree Decoration

Every couple has a Christmas they measure the others against. Maybe it's the first one — the tiny apartment, the sad little tree, the two of you eating takeaway on the floor. Maybe it's the fifth, the tenth, the twenty-fifth. This ornament lets you name that year and hang it on the tree, so it comes out of the box every December instead of living in a photo album.

Two overlapping hearts sit inside a hand-drawn mistletoe wreath, scattered with tiny gold stars and finished with a brick red ribbon bow. Above it curves your anniversary in bold retro serif capitals. Across the middle, your two names in flowing script. Below, the year. Printed on clear acrylic in a warm vintage palette of brick red, forest green, cream and antique gold — it looks like something found in an old Christmas box, not something generated in five seconds.

• Your anniversary — First, 5th, 10th, 25th, or whichever one you're marking. It prints inside OUR [___] CHRISTMAS
• Your names — both of them, in the elegant script across the centre
• Your year — the four digits that make it a record rather than a decoration

Not Only For The First Year

Most couple ornaments trap you into a single Christmas. This one doesn't. Because the anniversary word is yours to choose, the same design works for:

• Our First Christmas — newlyweds, new engagements, a first home together
• Our 5th / 10th Christmas — a quiet way to mark the years stacking up
• Our 25th Christmas — a silver anniversary keepsake that isn't a framed certificate
• A yearly tradition — order a new one each December and watch the row grow across the branch

What Makes It Different

• Illustrated, not clip-art — the hearts, mistletoe, berries, stars and ribbon bow are original hand-drawn artwork
• Three personalized fields — most couple ornaments give you one line; this gives you the anniversary, the names and the year
• Colour that lasts — UV-cured printing that won't yellow, bubble or peel in storage
• Glows on the tree — the clear bevelled acrylic edge catches fairy lights
• Light enough for any branch — won't drag down a thin tip the way ceramic or glass does
• Shatterproof — safe around toddlers, cats and enthusiastic dogs

Materials & Construction

Ribbon or hook is not included — the drilled hole fits any twine, ribbon or standard ornament hook you already have, so it matches your tree rather than fighting it.

Care & Storage

• Wipe with a soft dry or slightly damp cloth — never use alcohol, acetone or abrasive cleaners
• Store wrapped in tissue or a soft pouch to keep the surface scratch-free
• Keep away from radiators, candles and direct heat sources
• Not dishwasher safe (it's a keepsake, not tableware)

Gift Ideas

This is the ornament that gets unwrapped and then quietly re-read. It works beautifully as:

• A first Christmas together gift for newlyweds or a new engagement
• A housewarming keepsake for a couple's first place
• An anniversary present that isn't flowers or a card
• A stocking filler with weight to it — small parcel, large meaning
• A wedding favour or bridal shower gift for a December wedding
• A growing tradition — one new ornament every year, hung in a row

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I use this for something other than our first Christmas?

Yes — that's the point of it. The anniversary word is a field you fill in, so you can order Our 2nd Christmas, Our 10th Christmas, Our 25th Christmas or any year you like. Many customers buy a new one each December and hang the whole set together as the years add up.

How long can the anniversary word be?

We recommend keeping it to about 12 characters so it sits cleanly in the curved top text. First, 2nd, 5th, 10th and 25th all look great. Long written-out spellings such as "Twenty-Fifth" have to be shrunk to fit, so the numeral version reads better on the finished ornament.

Can I use nicknames or a family surname instead of two first names?

Of course. The names field prints exactly what you type, so nicknames, initials, or something like "The Bennetts" all work. Just keep it reasonably short so the script lettering stays large and readable rather than being scaled down to fit.

Does it come with a ribbon or hook?

No — there is a pre-drilled hole in the top tab, but no ribbon, string or metal hook is included. That keeps the design clean and lets you match your own tree, whether that's rustic twine, satin ribbon or a standard ornament hook.

Which size should I choose?

8cm is our most popular size for a standard Christmas tree — large enough to read both names clearly, small enough to sit naturally among other ornaments. Choose 7cm for tabletop trees or gift toppers, 10–12cm if you want it front and centre or hanging on a wreath or window, and 14–16cm for a wall or mantel display piece.

Will the printing fade or peel over the years?

The design is UV-cured directly onto the acrylic rather than applied as a sticker or paper insert, so it won't peel, bubble or yellow in storage. Wrapped in tissue and kept away from direct heat, it's built to come out of the box next December looking exactly the same.

Is it safe around children and pets?

Yes. Acrylic is shatterproof, so unlike glass or ceramic it won't break into sharp pieces if a toddler or curious cat knocks it off the branch. It's also very light, which means it hangs safely from thinner tree tips.
